an infinite falling sand game that lets you imagine any element you want with a simple text prompt. try dragging an image onto the window!

[notes]

  • the imagination feature costs me money for server maintenance, so please consider donating on my ko-fi! this game and its code will always be 100% free. a limit of two elements per minute (per IP) is put in place to make sure the server isn't spammed.
  • performance is better on the windows version, so check it out if you enjoy the web version! performance also improves if you disable battery saver on laptop devices.
  • the game imagines elements by connecting to my open-source server that uses OpenAI API to guess properties of the word you entered. no information besides the element name you entered is ever sent to or stored on the server.
  • this game was coded entirely in gdscript (godot 4.3 beta 3), so it is very easy to mod and create your own elements. check out the source code and share your creations in the comments!

[changelog]

  • 2024/7/23 (v2): imagined elements automatically generate hot/cold reactions (such as coffee turning into cold brew and steam).

What if you make it a mobile app and each time you want to make an elements you watch ads

i might release this on mobile in the future, but without ads :)

PLEASE ADD A FULLSCREEN BUTTON!! oh, and also; please either make the text length capability in the imagine thing longer, or incorporate a smart ai that is smart to know everything on the periodic table and knows what each element is, and what it does. for an example: if i were to type 'NL3' into the imagine box and press the button, the ai should recognize the element on the periodic table, and either know every element on it. or the AI just uses it's AI tech to scan the internet for 'NL3' and when it finds a wiki website like "wikipedia.com ,The free encyclopedia'" and scan the contents of the page containing the info on 'NL3' and then return to the player's side and create a usable particle WITH THE EXACT PROPERTIES AS THE REAL ELEMENT!
