Woof Wizard
controls:
- WASD/ARROW KEYS: movement, attack combos
- SPACEBAR/Z: accept, interact
- X: open overworld menu, cancel
how to play:
- press W/S near a ledge to jump between heights. you can also walk off edges, but be careful to not jump off-screen.
- in combat, keep your health points (h) above 0 to keep your party alive! use your spirit points (s) to unleash skills. your health and spirit reset before each encounter.
- low on spirit? combo attack! while doing a combo, you have 3 chances to press any WASD key when the circles align to deal damage and recover spirit. if you use a specific combination of WASD hits and have enough spirit, you will automatically use a skill on the enemy! check a skill's spirit cost and combo code within battle through the skills menu.
- gather items in the overworld to assist you in battle. flan recovers health, leche recovers spirit, and copal removes negative status effects (including death). you may also discover some secret powerful items that boost your stats...
- winning battles gives you experience (XP)! after enough experience, you level up and can increase either your attack (ATK), defense (DEF), or wit (WIT) by 1 point.

I made this cover art! Was very fun :3
Download version: After the Godot Game Engine splash screen it's just black. There's music and sounds when I pressed buttons, which implies the game is happening, but all the visuals are black.
Sorry, I’m not sure why that is happening! It works on my Windows 10 computer when I download it. I’ll try to look into it, but the web version is probably the best bet for now.
